Welcome to the International Sun Conference on Teaching and Learning! The International SUN Conference, held on the University of Texas at El Paso campus in early March every year, is dedicated to building a global community of university teachers whose commitment to instructional excellence transcends disciplinary, cultural, and national barriers.

Each year, the International SUN Conference chooses a theme relevant to enhancing student success in the disciplines and helping us all become better experts at preparing our students for professional success.

The focus of the conference is on practical, applied strategies, tools, and techniques. University faculty, instructional staff, instructional developers, and administrators are invited to share their innovative teaching practices, and to explore transformative college and university teaching methods together.
